My favorite moments tend to be the ones that are overlooked, hidden or passed by. I like the soft, quiet and light times; the moments that usually mean the most to people in the end. The candid, the impossible to plan, the pure and natural moments. These are the moments where I think it's easiest to understand ourselves and what is most important to us. That is something worth cherishing and remembering, in my opinion. It's a wild opportunity that we have, when we have a camera in hand, to capture a single moment for forever. Sometimes you have to pick and choose your moments and other times they seem to choose themselves. Photography has become a way of speaking for me, a language. I'm not that profound with words, so I try my best to talk through photos, through moments in time. - - Madeline |
